With my sculptures, I capture the moment when flows meet forms, creating something fascinating.
As an aerospace engineer, I work daily on the analysis and optimization of flows around complex flow objects.
Understanding how air or liquids flow across surfaces is the foundation of my artistic work. I apply these principles to my sculptures to bring the dynamism and elegance of flow into a tangible, distilled form.
From an early age, I was fascinated by the movement of air and liquids, which ultimately led to my career as an engineer.
Through various professional positions, including work in flow simulation or
my time at Porsche, I developed a deep understanding of the interaction between flows and forms.

The passion for speed and dynamics drives me.

My sculptures preserve flowing movements in a still moment.
Each work is created through an exact simulation that takes physical principles into account. The focus is on technical precision and the minimalist representation of movement.
Visualizing the flow through a cloth allows me to transform the invisible - the air flow - into something visible and to preserve the flow.
The surfaces of my sculptures are based on the textures of coal, stone and metals - a homage to my region of origin, the Ruhr area. This special surface look combines the industrial history of the region with the precision and aesthetics of my work.
The interplay of form and finishing gives the sculptures a unique feel that emphasizes the contrast between the rough texture and the clear, flowing lines.
